Welcome to our family run canal boat hire company
‘Astarte’ our traditional 8 berth 62 foot long canal boat, with all home comforts is available for hire. Fully equipped for all your needs, available all year round with double glazing and central heating. We offer the opportunity for self drive holidays or skippered day hire. You will experience navigating locks and cruising along the serene waterways, with the flexibility to explore charming villages and soak in the local culture, or stop for a bite to eat in one of the many waterside pubs and restaurants.
We are located on the picturesque Kennet and Avon Canal in Woolhampton, which is approximately half way between Newbury and Reading in Wiltshire.

Self drive canal boat holidays offer a unique and leisurely experience for you to navigate through the waterways at your own pace. No experience or license is required making it accessible for beginners and experienced alike.
Trips can range from short weekend getaways to extended vacations, allowing you to tailor the experience to your preferences.
