'Astarte' Self drive holiday hire
Our lovely 8 berth 62 foot long narrowboat named "Astarte"
General boat information:
- Sleeps up to 8 (recommend 6 for maximum comfort)
- Full all year round central heating
- Fully double glazed
- 1 fixed double in middle and 1 pull-out double)
- 4 single beds (2 low and 2 high bunks)
- 1 main shower room in middle of boat
- 1 extra toilet for the bunk areas
- Vanity basins in all rear bedroom areas
- Full kitchen facilities and all utensils supplied
- 2 TV's with DVD players and radio (all 12 volts)
- Selection of DVD's onboard
- 240 volt electric (max 1600 watts)
- Life Jackets are onboard
What is included in our holiday prices:
- Full tank of Diesel (approx 2 weeks worth)
- All Gas required
- Fresh water tank full ready before departure
- Toilet tanks empty (These should last up to 2 weeks)
- Duvet, pillows and mattress bottom sheets
- Full inventory (see downloads and information)
- Full deck gear supplied
What you will need to bring:
- Duvet covers, pillow covers and towels
- Tea towel
- Personal belongings
Extra charges:
- Holidays over 2 weeks will need to arrange for diesel, gas and toilet pump out if more is required
- We charge £50 total for up to 2 dogs
- Late return/damage deposit - refunded after your holiday subject to our terms and conditions
- Any fees to enter areas of the canal that are not covered by the license fee - e.g. Guildford and Basingstoke canals
- Extra if wanting to travel onto the Thames (day passes and short passes possible)

- Minimum number of adults 2 (18+)

- Self drive hire check in is 15:00 and check out is 09:00
- Skippered day hire check in and out to be agreed, booking will say 1 night but it is only for the day
Children are entered as guests as we do not charge extra per person. However please note that if you have young children that can't be left unattended you will require a minimum of 3 adults so that 1 person can always supervise the child inside the boat. while 1 adult drives and 1 operates locks and bridges. This is a minimum requirement for safety and insurance.
